We are looking for volunteers to assist with the setting up and running of a social group (peer support group) which will be held in the borough of Newham. Volunteers will be enable members to enjoy their visits to the group.
Your role will be to work with patients, carers and family members in our Newham Satellite Hub or in patients homes. There will be the opportunity to work with clients on a 1:1 basis or to design and run group workshops.

Independent custody visitors visit police stations unannounced to check on the treatment and welfare of people held in police custody. Once a week two visitors from a local panel attend a police station at random to speak to detainees.

We provide award winning, practical, free 'on the job' training in all aspects of film-making for 16-25 year olds in London. We teach the basics of camera, sound, lighting and grapple with challenging ideas.
Our aim is to help children who are struggling with reading and needs a boost. Providing them with opportunity to build their self-esteem. You will be required to read with the children, play board games and provide a listening ear.
